2015 WINDPOWER educational schedule released

The American Wind Energy Association (AWEA) invites WINDPOWER 2015 attendees to preview the educational sessions for this year's conference and convention.

The American Wind Energy Association (AWEA) has posted the full schedule for its 2015 WINDPOWER conference. Attendees may choose from more than 40 hours of programming and peer-to-peer learning.

Educational programming at WINDPOWER 2015 is designed to help industry members:

  • Understand the value of improved wind energy forecasts
  • Navigate federal wildlife permitting at Greenfield and operating wind farms
  • Discover potential and planned transmission solutions
  • Analyze innovations in reliability and performance of today's wind turbines
  • Review the state of offshore wind in the U.S.
  • Dive into recent revisions to health and safety regulations, and understand their impact
  • Evaluate wind demand - and how to increase it
  • Investigate U.S. wind energy market forecasts
  • Discuss how yieldcos and IPOs are adding new owners for wind projects and companies
  • Get a firsthand look at the DOE Wind Vision
