IXUS Energy signs import deal with Kraft und Wärme aus Biomasse GmbH.

Deal calls for IXUS Energy to supply biomass boilers to the North of England and the Isle of Man from its Northumberland headquarters.

IXUS Energy will provide extensive technical training and sales support to biomass installation partners who would like to supply their customers with KWB boilers. Accredited installers will also benefit from KWB’s extensive marketing campaign, which in the run-up to the beginning of the domestic Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) in the UK, is expected to generate considerable interest from consumers looking for a more sustainable and financially attractive way to heat their properties.

Simon Cross, commercial director at IXUS Energy, described the exclusive deal with KWB as a major coup. “Installers are already signing up to our bespoke KWB boiler installation training programme, which we will be running from our new state-of-the-art biomass facilities in Cramlington," he said. "There really has never been a better time for installers to get on board.”

Martin Seifried, KWB’s sales manager for the UK, believes IXUS Energy is ideally placed to provide optimal customer service to both installers and customers across the North of England and the Isle of Man. "With their support, and our excellent product range, we believe we can offer installers the very best biomass package available in the market," he explained.

IXUS Energy's management team has more than 30 years’ experience in biomass technologies. Likewise, biomas boilers manufactured by Austria-based KWB account for 20 per cent of all boilers sold in the highly competitive German market.
