ET Solar builds large-scale solar power projects in the UK

8.4 MWp ground-mounted solar power plant marks ET Solar's UK entry

The 8.4 MWp solar project is close to the village of Bridgewater in Somerset, about 40 miles southwest of Bristol. ET Solar has acquired the project rights from a local developer. ET Solar also acts as the full EPC service provider for this project. The project is under construction now and is expected to be grid-connected before the end of March. Therefore, it will be accredited under 1.6 ROCs.

"This UK market entry represents a significant achievement for our system business," said Dennis She, president and CEO of ET Solar. "With our EPC execution and financing capabilities, we are well positioned to further grow our business in this new market."

In line with ET Solar's UK target of 80 MWp for 2014, ET Solar is in the process of acquiring another 8.4 MWp project, which would start in the middle of March.
