Italy recently approved the 2011-2013 energy plan (Conto energía 2011), which sets aside 200 MW of electricity for high concentration technology installations.

Angel Luis Serrano, President of Isofoton, says: “GEN2, Isofoton's new high concentration module, which will be introduced to the market in 2011, provides higher output than other established photovoltaic technologies in regions with high temperatures and high irradiation."
