Conergy builds 1.1 MW Czech solar power plant

Conergy Group is building a 1.1 MW solar power park near Louny in the Czech Republic set to be completed in July.

Conergy is erecting 5112 PowerPlus solar modules over an area measuring 24,000 m2. 71 Conergy IPG-T 15 inverters will feed the energy generated by the premium modules into the public power grid.

Conergy says the solar modules are attached to its SolarLinea mounting system, which has been specially developed for open spaces.

Ales Spacil, Head of Conergy’s Czech division, says: “Not only is Louny the first large-scale plant being built in the Czech Republic that is completely equipped with Conergy’s own system technology. It is also the first big project to employ in large numbers our new Conergy IPG-T model inverters – available only since the beginning of April.

"With the three-phase, grid-connected devices we were able to plan more flexibly locally. Its excellent collector efficiency will also provide the highest yields in the plant when completed.”

M2Solar will operate the solar power plant.
