Conergy says: “In these times of economic crisis, more and more Greeks are discovering the benefits of solar energy as a safe and stable investment.”
The solar energy park will be built in Drama, 200 km north-east of Thessaloniki using Conergy’s solar systems technologies.
The solar power station, which is set to be completed this summer, could produce 7.1 GWh of electricity annually.
Conergy will install 22,704 of its PowerPlus 220P Premium Modules at the 200,000 m2 area.
These solar modules will feed into the public power grid via 18 IPG 300k inverters in 9 CIS 540 inverter stations.
Framework agreement with KLT Energy
In addition to the solar power park, Conergy Greece has also concluded a framework agreement for 2010 with the Greek provider KLT Energy for an additional 5 MW of Conergy PowerPlus Modules.
