Enerqos inaugurates solar PV monitoring in Italy

Enerqos has completed a solar photovoltaic (PV) monitoring centre in Italy for the control and management of solar installations.

The centre, which is located close to the Navacchio technological pole (Pisa), will manage the entire control, operational management and maintenance of solar PV plants under Enerqos’ O&M (Operation & Maintenance) contract.

The solar PV monitoring centre uses Osiride™ technology from Enerqos’ technological partner, the IT consulting company Samares.

The solar PV monitoring technology enables the use of integrated remote control with real-time performance control, analysis and identification of service anomalies, evaluation of loss performance deviation, metering, corrective measures, and business continuity.

“The element that best characterises the PV monitoring centre is quite rightly its ability to carry out proactive monitoring. Its objective is to anticipate, identify and resolve critical issues before they manifest themselves. In this way, valuable time is saved by keeping both costs and energy production downtime due to system failure to a minimum”, explains Mauro Marcucci, CEO Enerqos.
