The applications will be used during the construction phase to provide an overview of marine operations.

The SeaPlanner web applications will allow the project team to access GIS data integrated with real time information on their UK wind farms. Use of secure web technologies will allow disparate users, such as DONG Energy central management, in multiple locations, to see progress on site, SeaRoc says.

The system is already in use at Gunfleet Sands offshore wind farm.

The Walney offshore wind farm is owned by DONG Energy and Scottish and Southern Energy (SSE).
