Commenting on the appointment, Olivier Drücke, ESTIF president, says: "We are delighted that Xavier joins our association as the new Secretary General. Not only does he bring a vast experience in dealing with EU institutions, but he is also very familiar with legislative procedures and public campaigning at the European level. Having previously worked in a similar environment, we expect him to further strengthen the positioning of our association in order to achieve an even greater awareness of solar thermal technology."

Xavier will be based at the ESTIF office in Brussels Renewable Energy House from where he will lead the implementation of ESTIF’s strategy and coordinate the secretariat’s activities.

The European Solar Thermal Industry Federation represents manufacturers, service providers and national solar associations.
