Gamesa signs a 100 MW turbine supply agreement with Chinese construction group

50 G97-2.0 MW Gamesa wind turbines to be deployed for Hebei province wind farm.

Gamesa has signed a new contract in China for the supply of 100 MW to Hebei Construction & Investment Group (HCIG).

Under the terms of the contract signed with HCIG, Gamesa will supply, install and commission 50 of its G97-2.0 MW turbines at the Fengdianzhiqing wind farm, located in Zhangjiakou, in the province of Hebei. These 50 turbines are due for delivery during the third quarter of 2015, with the wind farm slated for commissioning the following quarter.

Since 2008, Gamesa has signed orders for the supply of 250 MW to HCIG, the largest operator in the province of Hebei and a top ten player at the national level. Gamesa's presence in China dates back 15 years. Over that time frame, Gamesa has installed more than 3,626 MW, with close to 900 MW under maintenance.
