Vikram Solar's new US office will be located in Boulder, Colorado.

Vikram Solar’s initial products for the American market are 60-cell, 1000 VDC 250 and 255 polycrystalline modules with either clear or black frames. 72-cell 295 Watt is also available for immediate order, and UL/CEC certification for 300 to 330 Watt is pending for late Q3. Vikram Solar also provides a full line of 18-, 36-, 48- and 54-cell modules.

In support of the expansion, Vikram Solar has named Ken Oatman the new head of business development for the Americas. Oatman is a well-known executive in the American solar industry with more than six years of experience in various positions along the solar supply chain. Prior to joining Vikram Solar in July 2014, he was employed by ET Solar Group as sales manager.
