WINDFORCE 2014 set to kick off 17 - 19 June in Bremen, Germany

Wind power conference and exhibition targets the international offshore supply chain.

WINDFORCE 2014, set to take place at the Breman Fair site, serves as the meeting place for offshore wind energy experts discuss markets, projects, environmental protection and research. Representing the offshore wind industry’s entire value-creation chain, around 300 exhibitors are expected to attend. These include manufacturers, planners and operators, service and logistics companies as well as research institutes, suppliers and insurers. Offshore Wind Messe und Veranstaltungs GmbH und Wind Energy Agency WAB, the event's organisers, are expecting around 800 conference participants and 8,000 visitors to the trade fair.

“At WINDFORCE 2014 you can find out what makes the offshore industry tick, what trends to observe, which products are new, and how markets are developing”, explained Jens Eckhoff, managing director of Offshore Wind Messe und Veranstaltungs GmbH. Ronny Meyer, managing director of WAB, agreed, adding that “this year we are bringing together -- for the second time -- the combined expertise of the offshore industry in Bremen’s trade fair halls – from researchers and politicians to start-up businesses and industrial groups."

Conference participants may register online beginning in March. The registration closing date for exhibitors is 16 May.
