The deal represents the expansion of the Swiss inverter manufacturer's SolarMax brand in the UK. Likewise,  this expansion of Alternergy’s inverter offering follows on from the successful launch of their e-commerce website in October 2013, enabling installers to easily configure PV kits and place orders online.

The tie-up with Alternergy comes at a time of increasing UK expansion by SolarMax, with a particular focus on the important distribution sales channel. SolaMax has invested heavily in the development of the UK business and is having success in linking up with some of the leading PV installers and distributors throughout the UK.
