Mark Group’s Bill Rumble to take succeed Mitsubishi Electric’s Donald Daw

Rumble will formally assume his new responsibilities at SEA's upcoming executive committee meeting in April. He will serve in this capacity for a term of two years.

Upon his appointment as vice president of SEA, Rumble gave a nod to his predecessor. “Donald Daw has been an excellent chairman for the past four years, and has seen the organisation achieve some major steps forward in influencing Government policy," he stated. "During 2013 he oversaw the organisation’s transition to become the Sustainable Energy Association, and I am privileged to have the opportunity to build on those achievements."

As one of his priorities, Rumble will continue to push for the proper integration of policy between energy efficiency and low carbon energy production in buildings--specifically, matching the realities of how the market now operate.

Rumble joined Mark Insulations Group in April 2006 as commercial director. His previous career had centred on the automotive industry, with his most recent position as global product marketing manager for Aston Martin. When Rumble joined Mark Group it was a £50m turnover business, employing 500 staff installing insulation. Today, the repositioned ‘Mark Group’ is one of the UK’s largest and fastest growing installers of ‘whole home; energy saving measure, with a turnover in excess of £240million. Operating out of the UK, US, Australia and as Right House in New Zealand, its workforce now totals around 2,500.
