The EBIT almost tripled to €70.7m. Solar cell production more than doubled to 123 MWp, and thin-film module production reached 20 MWp.

For the year ahead, ersol anticipates a temporary slowdown, but that things will return to ‘old vitality’ by 2010 at the latest. For 2009, ersol expects an output of 180 MWp in the solar and 30 MWp in thin-film segment. Forecasted revenue for the year is around €420m and the EBIT could reach €80-90m.
