It won the supply order from China Guangdong Nuclear Solar Energy Development Co, a subsidiary of China Guangdong Nuclear Power Group. Xiande Li, Chairman of the Board of Directors at JinkoSolar said the order validates the company’s efforts to nurture long-term relationships with major companies in the Chinese solar power plant industry.
The solar power product manufacturer has production operations in Jiangxi and Zhejiang Provinces in China with sales and marketing offices in Shanghai. As well as focusing on China, the firm is aiming to expand its “geographic footprint worldwide” and win further export contracts, it says.
With annual production capacity at around 1.2GW, its product line includes silicon wafers, solar cells and modules. Overseas, it has offices in Munich, Bologna, Montpellier in France, Zug in Switzerland, San Francisco, Queensland Australia, Ontario and Singapore. It currently exports to Germany, Italy, Belgium, Spain, the US, France and Eastern Europe.
