Voith Hydro Wavegen specialises in the development and supply of wave energy technology equipment, and is involved in Spain’s first grid connected wave energy project which has so far delivered over 24,000 hours of electricity.

The Mutriku wave power project was commissioned by a team of Scottish engineers and a total of 16 wave turbines are currently in operation.

The Mutriku project represents a great stepping stone in the development of marine energy, not just for Voith Hydro Wavegen but for the industry as a whole.
