Solar roof system gets UK MCS certification

SOLARWATT’s in-roof solar photovoltaic (PV) system, Easy-In, has been awarded Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) certification for the British market.

By Kari Williamson

The certificate is issued by the British examination office British Board of Agrément (BBA) for excellent product quality and safety, and is a crucial prerequisite to distribute the SOLARWATT in-roof system in the UK.

Expanding the UK distribution

“We are going to increase our commitment within the British market. The MCS seal of quality confirms the excellent quality of our products and opens the door to expand our distribution activities in Great Britain. We will continue to focus on premium quality, professionalism and customer oriented and excellent service,” says Detlef Neuhaus, Director of Sales and Marketing for SOLARWATT.

To qualify for the UK feed-in tariff, all solar system components as well as the installer have to be MCS certified.
