South Korea provides loan for solar PV in Mozambique

South Korea will provide two loans totalling US$60 million to Mozambique for the construction of three solar photovoltaic (PV) power stations and to finance an emergency information management system.

South Korea will provide US$35m to finance the construction of solar PV plants in the districts of Muembe, Mecula and Mavago in the northern province of Niassa, Mozambique.

The loans will be on concessional terms over a 40-year period including a 15-year grace period, reports Bernama.
