The La Bretelle wind farm will consist of 15 wind turbines, and the remaining 8 wind turbines will be erected at Echalot.

The first deliveries for the construction of the wind farms are starting during summer 2012 and the commissioning is planned in December 2012.

Olivier Perot, Managing Director of REpower’s French subsidiary REpower S.A.S. comments: “With both wind farms the installed capacity in the region of Bourgogne will almost double from 70 to 120 MW in the future. ”

Jean-François Innocenti, Director for construction of La Compagnie du Vent, GDF SUEZ Group, adds: “These two wind farms represent the most important project that our company has ever built in France. At the end of 2012 La Compagnie du Vent will almost operate 300 MW of wind energy capacity, of which 80 MW are realised with REpower turbines.”
