Taiwan inaugurates its “largest” solar plant

Taiwan has started operations at what could be its largest solar photovoltaic (PV) plant in the southern city of Kaohsiung.

The solar facility, which consists of over 16,000 solar panels, is run by the state-owned Taiwain Power Company.

The solar PV plant represents an investment of NT$640 million (~US$20.9m) and is expected to produce 5.92 MW, according to Taiwan Today.
