Gamesa comes with the wind to Sweden

Gamesa will supply 14 MW of wind turbines to Triventus for installation at the Dal and Fåleberg wind farms being developed by the Scandinavian firm in southern Sweden. The first G9X 2 MW wind turbines will be installed in November. Gamesa will handle transportation work and the start-up of the wind farms, which it will maintain for two years.

Gamesa has also signed agreements with two new customers: The first for the supply of 6 MW – three G9X 2 MW wind turbines – to the Lingbo facility being developed by Spanish Power through its subsidiary Spawer Kraft AB; and the second for the supply of 1.7 MW – two G58 850 kW wind turbines – to Eolus Vind AB. Delivery and commissioning of the wind turbines under both these contracts is slated for the fourth quarter of 2011.

Gamesa sees Sweden as a key market and is exhibiting its G10X 4.5 MW, G9X 2 MW and G5X 850 kW wind turbine platforms at Vind 2011 in Stockholm, this week.
