The award categories are: Photovoltaics, Solar Thermal Technology and PV Production Technology.
The award will be presented on 8 June at Intersolar Europe in Munich, Germany. Perhaps unsurprisingly, there is a heavy domination of German companies among the nominees. The award is open to submissions from Intersolar exhibitors from India, Europe and the USA.
Trends among solar innovators are to increase the quality and efficiency of solar products, and system integration.
