Siemens direct drive turbines to 18 MW Scottish wind farm

Siemens will deliver 6 of its SWT3.0-101 direct drive wind turbines to Community Windpower Ltd for the 18 MW Millour Hill Community Windfarm in Scotland.

Installation of the 3 MW wind turbines will start in December 2011, with completion scheduled for early 2012.

The wind farm will be near Community Windpower’s 18 MW Dalry Community Windfarm, which consists of 6 Vestas V90 wind turbines.
