The solar BIPV system was installed on a curved surface using both crystalline and solar thin-film modules over a skylight area.
The system includes Satcon Solstice inverter technology, said to maximise power yield while allowing mixed technologies and mounting configurations to be managed by a single system.
The solar BIPV system was connected to the grid in late December 2010, in order to meet the Jiangsu 2010 deadline to receive feed in tariff rate of RMB3/kWh.
