The contract is with Enerjisa Power Generation Company, a joint venture of Turkish Sabanci Holding and the Austrian Verbund.

Arkun hydropower plant is expected to generate 800 GWh annually.

Under the terms of the contract Alstom will engineer, supply and install three 76.6 MW vertical Francis hydropower turbines, inlet valves, three generators as well as the plant’s switchyard, control system and balance of plant.
