Vestas delivers 86 MW of wind turbines to Brazil

Vestas has received an order for 86 MW of wind turbines to an undisclosed customer for wind projects in the state of Bahia and Rio Grande do Norte in Brazil.

The supply and installation contract is for 21 V100 1.8 MW wind turbines and 16 V90 3 MW wind turbines.

Delivery will begin in September 2011 and the wind power projects are expected to be completed by the end of that year.

Further details were not available from Vestas.
