The wind farm has now been commissioned and was handed over to EnBW Erneuerbare Energien GmbH at Husum WindEnergy 2010.

The Elze wind farm is one of 7 wind farms, which PNE Wind is to construct for EnBW Erneuerbare Energien. Four of these wind farms have already been constructed and one with a total nominal rating of 12 MW is currently under construction.
