At the same time, DONG Energy will buy E.ON's 20% ownership interest and resell it to PensionDanmark at a price of DKK0.3bn, leaving DONG Energy and PensionDenmark with a 50% share each in the offshore wind farm.

DONG Energy continues to be responsible for the operation of the 165.6 MW Nysted offshore wind farm, which was commissioned in 2003.

We also see it as recognition of DONG Energy's unique expertise in operating offshore wind farms,” says Anders Eldrup, CEO at DONG Energy.
