The partnership between YES BANK, India’s private sector bank and CarbonDesk Limited, an independent carbon broking firm, aims to bridge the gap between Europe and India through the creation of CDM projects; increasing the amount of Certified Emissions Reduction (CER) credits produced in India.

An increasing number of worldwide deals for post-2012 CERs indicate that interest in the CDM remains strong with India maintaining its position as a significant player in the emission reduction market.
