EuPD Research reports that the reductions will be the same amount as originally planned (i.e. 16% for rooftop solar PV systems, 15% for groundmounted systems, and 11% for ground mounted systems in commercial and industrial areas.) The only difference being that, if consensus is reached, the reductions would be introduced on a step by step basis. Therefore, the reductions which would be backdated to 1 July 2010 are as follows:
- 13 percent for rooftop systems;
- 12 percent for open-space systems;
- 8 percent for surfaces designated for land use change.
Following on from this, all three tariffs would be decreased again by three percentage points from 1 October 2010.
The intention to cut all subsidies for farmland as of 1 July 2010 has not been revised and will be enforced as originally planned.
