As part of the certification process, the Gamesa wind turbine passed a product design review, a power curve test and verification of the load assumptions by prototype measurements, in accordance with GL2003 certification guidelines.

Gamesa has already obtained GL2003 certification for its G5X and G8X wind turbine systems, and is currently working to gain certification for the low-temperature version of the G90 wind turbine for use in the USA and Canada.

It is also in the process of gaining certification for its latest design, the Gamesa G10X 4.5 MW platform.
