Siemens has released a 3.6 MW wind turbine featuring a 120 m rotor diameter. The SWT-3.6-120 wind turbine is based on the SWT-3.6-107 offshore wind turbine. Siemens says it will generate roughly 10% more electricity at a typical offshore site compared to the SWT-3.6-107.
